filling a bottle - CFD

Hello everybody,

I have a question regarding a filling of a bottle simulation.

I have to perform the analysis about the filling of a bottle but i don't know how to set this analysis.

Is there anyone who can help me?

i think that it should be a transient analysis is it right? Or it needs to use stationary simulation?

the initial conditions and boundary condition are:

inlet velocity: 1.22 m/s

working pressure: 1 atm

initial temperature 20°C

Thank a lot

Are you using simulation CFD or the product previously known as Algor?

Sounds like you are talking about free surface effects, but Simulation CFD does not support free surface effects.

I'm using CFDesign.

What's about algor?  can i do it with Algor?

I didn't think to use it because i know that is not the right program for a CFD analisys.

How do you use it for this kind of simulation? is it possible to use the CFD module of Algor  to make this study?

what i want to know are:

velocity field

pressure field

distribution of the fluid around the wall of the bottle

and for the future if is it possibile i would like to study the mixing between water and glass.

thank's a lot for your support
