Hi,
Can anyone give me help with a simulation of air within a Stirling Engine in Multiphysics. Im required to simulate the transfer of heat through a steel cylinder to the enclosed air, as well as the flow of the air enclosed within the cylinder and, ultimately, the effect on the engine's shaft rotational speed. Can anyone give me any hints that might be useful for this simulation. I'm new to Multiphysics so any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
SIMMP can do the coupled fluid/thermal analysis with fixed simulation domains. For Stirling Engine, if you are looking for the motion of piston as well, Autodesk SIMCFD forum is a better place. http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Simulation-CFD/bd-p/330
