Excitation of mulitiple modes in Frequency Response Analysis

Hello

When I set up a frequency response analysis by "Edit analysis parameters > Analysis setup > Excited nodes tab" I would like to be able to input multiple nodes into the "Node number of applied excitation" field or the surface itself. I realize that I can do this by adding a new node set for each new node. However, if I have a large number of nodes that I want to excite (perhaps corresponding to an entire surface) then this is very tedious and time consuming. I have tried pasting a list of nodes but this doesn't work.

Is there a better way of doing this?

Cheers!

Hi 9msl1,

As you have discovered, there is no easy way to do it through the frequency response dialog. The best idea that comes to mind is to create a bunch of "spokes"  from one point in space to all of the nodes that need a load. You can create these lines easily with the "Draw > something > Contact Elements".

Then, you only need to apply the frequency response load to one node.
