Edge Curved Load

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to know if it is possible to create such load pattern automatically. Take a look at the image:

Suppose I want to automatically create a load of 1N in every node of the edge that would be orientet towards the center of the circle they form.

How can I do that?

Hi scudelari,

First your create a Local Coordinate System (LCS) following the instructions on this page of the wiki Help.

Second, you select the nodes and assign them to the new LCS, also described on the same page.

Third, you apply the load. Note that the "Coordinate System" field will show that it is a cylindrical system, so applying an "X" load corresponds to the radial direction.
