Dynamic Simulation: Point-Curve

Hello all,

firstly I'm a french student so I can make some mistakes, sorry Smiley Embarassed

Indeed I have to modelize a machining of a frame of windows with a cutting tool, which stays horizontal and haven't any cutting movement, to settle a constant cutting speed.

I modelized the frame with a curve and the tip of the tool with a point.

However the dynamic simulation doesn't run: the tool stays motionless even if I impose a speed.

Can you help me ??

I see that you are working within the Inventor Simulation.  I believe you will find more relevant help if you post your question from within the Autodesk Inventor forum.  This forum deals with a different product, the Autodesk Simulation (formally Algor) and its permutations

Hi Corentin,

As Pat mentioned, please post this up in the Inventor forum: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/bd-p/78

It would be a great help to include the model files (assembly + components) that contain the DS simulation.

Thanks! -Hugh
