Autodesk Mechanical Simulation 2014 - Memory Error Please Help!

Hi There

I have a client with a new PC with the following specs but keeps getting an error when running a simulation

The system specs are as follows:

Intel Core i7 2.7GHz

32GB Kingston DDR3 Memory

2x Intel 530 240GB SSD in a Stripe

2 x Western Digital 2TB in a Mirror

NVidia Quadro K4000

There is 65536MB of Virtual Memory allocated to each drive C: (SSD) 😧 (2TB) – There is 300GB Available on C: and 1.3TB available on 😧

When they try and run the simulation it gets to load case 1 and then stops and get the following error

Invoking Parallel BCSLIB-EXT Sparse Solver...

Begin solving nonlinear equations of load case        1

      BCSLIB-EXT solver memory status:

      in-core memory requirement (MB) =            0.00

minimum memory requirement (MB) =         9964.35

user specified memory (MB) =        17032.70

available physical memory (MB) =        17032.70

available virtual memory (MB) =       147828.36

memory currently allocated (MB) =         8192.00

Error: Required minimum memory exceeds 8 Gigabytes.

Reduce model size may solve this problem.

Error occurred with module: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Simulation 2014\srunx.exe

this is becoming a bit of an issue and really need to sort any and all help would be appreciated

thanks in advance

How many nodes and elements does your model have?  The model size might be too large.
