Any idea why this is aborting?

Can someone please help me in the right direction to figure out why my analysis is stopping?  Here is the log file.

Can you post ds.al file here?

Your log shows only 3G memory available. Not sure if this is enough.

Also, if possible, please try version 2012 or 2013.

I have 8Gb on this machine and have set it to use up to 80% of that.  Do I need to upgrade?

As shown in your log, code only found 3.7G.

** Total available memory = 3707568 (KB).

You can change the 80% to 100%, 200% or even higher.

I will try that.  How much memory would I need for this?  Would 16gb be enough?

This really depends on your model.

For example, isotropic elastic material model needs less memory than elasto-plastic model. 8 integration points per element needs less memory than 27 integration points.

16G should be ok, I guess.
