Is there a special capability to specifically analysing ceramic and carbon composites? I'm interested in analysing CMCs, advanced and technical ceramics, various carbon composite types.

Hello,

The software was originally developed for PMC materials (both carbon and glass reinforced).  We have had limited success with analyzing CMC materials with a variety of customers.  CMC materials have a coating around the fiber which has its own failure mode, and we do not explicitly account for that material in our micromechanics models. If you are interested in trying out the software for CMC materials, please feel free to contact me directly. We are also interested in progressing the software to handle these types of materials, and I would be more than happy to discuss it further.
