ANSYS Admin priviliges installation issue

User is attempting to install ANSYS which is one of the prerequisites for our software plugin product, Simulation Composite Analysis.

Ansys is warning the user during the installation, admin privileges are needed.

What can be done to overcome this issue in order to complete the ANSYS installation.

The solution to your resolution is as follows:

To get the proper administrative persmisions you will need to execute the setup file with elevated permissions. The best way to do this is via an adminstrator command window. You may be able to type cmd in your start window and it will bring up cmd.exe. Right click and select run as administrator. Then navigate to the folder with the setup.exe for ansys and execute it. Note the CMD window has an "Administrator" indication to let user know he is executing commands with elevated permissions.

Be sure to note that you will be required to have administrator user account privileges. If you do not please contact your administrator or search microsoft help for information on elevating your machine permissions.
