what is "Can enclosure"

I do not understand the meaning of "Can Enclosure" in learning guide.

Is this a kind of sheet with depth? we do not have this part in actual life.

Is it necessary for me to create this in case i have already define an air column?

Are there some boundary condition should be apply on it?

Thanks!

Could you share a link to the page you are referring to?

Also, an image of your model would help us give a more comprehensive answer.

Many thanks,

Jon

I see, 2 things:

  1. We should never use internal Boundary Conditions
  2. No, you do not have to model the 'can'

Best regards,

Jon

A 'Can Enclosure' is a method to model a type of recessed light.
