Torque calculation in Wall Results

In both CFdesign 2011 and Autodesk Simulation 2012, the torque calculation in Wall Results does not allow the input of negative sign for the directions. Previous versions have no issue inputting a negative 1 value in X, Y or Z direction for torque calculation.

Is this a bug?

Hi Max,

I confirmed what you found to be a defect/bug and have shown it the development team and they are taking an active interest in the matter.

I also confirmed that this is a defect as well for CFdesign 2011, but it works in CFdesign 2010.

In terms of a workaround it seems that you will have to force your geometry such that your unit vector direction is in a positive direction.  This can be accomplished in your CAD package and then you will have to rerun your model.

I apologize for the inconvinience.
