Hi,
I have run several adaptive mesh cycles with my model when the simulation crashed. Now, if I try to open again the file none of the meshing cycles appear, and all results are lost.
Nevertheless, if I open the "Design1" folder where I saved my simulation, I can see all the subfolder with the cycles I run, that is, "Scenario 1", "Scenario 1 - Mesh 1", etc...
Is there any way to recover and open this data?
Thanks,

If you have any .res files in the scenario folder you can try a similar approach:
There is no surefire way to guarantee this but we find that this technique often works well.
Hi Jon,
I am running into a similar issue.
Could you be a little bit more specific about which .res files you moved and where you moved them to?
I have tried moving just the .res file from the final mesh, e.g.:
file\Design 1\Scenario 1\solver\Scenario 1.res.s713
to
file_support\Design 1\Scenario 1\solver\Scenario 1.res.s713
When this didn't work, I also tried recreating the file structure in the new design folder and have moved the .res files from each mesh adaptation as well, e.g.:
file\Design 1\Scenario 1 - Mesh 1\solver\Scenario 1 - Mesh 1.res.s902
to
file_support\Design 1\Scenario 1 - Mesh 1\solver\Scenario 1 - Mesh 1.res.s902
Each of these results in the following output upon running for 0 iterations:
*********** ANALYSIS STARTED ***********
Turbulent Incompressible Flow is ON
Turbulence model: SST_k-omega
Intelligent Wall Formulation: ON

I'd really appreciate any insight. This has happened to about 10 similar jobs of a set of about 100 similar jobs so I don't think that it is a mesh issue.
Let me know if you need any additional information or if I am being unclear about anything. Thanks!
