I had issues when trying to create a design study with this part. When I tried initially with the SolidWorks file, it never got to the pop-up where I could launch a design study.
I converted the SolidWorks model to a *.STEP file. I was then able to launch the design study; however, it will get to 98% on the "Performing diagnostic sweep" step and freezes.
See attachments for a screenshot but, the STEP file was too large.
Just some background on the model: 1/8" cell diameter expanded hexcell aluminium @ 2" thickness. I am trying to model its effectiveness as a flow straightener/generating semi-laminar flow.
Could anybody provide some insight?
