Evaporation

Hello,

I am trying to simulate how the air temperature decreases when going through moisturized pads(like those in the swamp coolers). Can you please give me some tips of which boundary conditions to assign or what needs to be done. Please reply asap. Thank you!

Hi,

We are using ventilated grids to evaporate water out of a salt solution. Dit you make anny progres sinds youre post? Becaus we also want to try and simulate this.

Hope to hear from you or the communitie.

Koen.

Hi,

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

I am also trying to estimate evaporation in a CFD model.

Regards,

Daniel

I couldn't find a solution and I ran out of time. I calculated it manually
and using another simple software called coolT. I then entered the values
on Simulation CFD. It worked ok for what I needed. But other than that, I
tired so hard to find a solution and I couldn't.

Hi anasabukhadra!

As far as i know Simulation CFD can't solve evaporation problems. You were talking about a simple software named "coolT" . Can you please give me any link to download and use this software? I googled it but could't find any realiable thing.

Thank you!

Simanto
