Average Velocity Magnitude on a Plane

Hi,

Some users would like to know if there is a way to calculate the average velocity magnitude on a plane? Currently, the bulk weighted results function only calculates Vx, Vy, Vz and the area. Results for velocity magnitude still have to be calculated manually in an Excel file.

Secondly, is there a way to get all average velocities at different planes at different surfaces/areas of the model at once?

Thank you.

1) Use summary plane and from "critical values" you can get average velocity on a surface

2) If there are several planes, convert all these as summary planes, and then take average on all area-average values you obtained from these summary planes
