Adaptive timesstepping

I am using adaptive timestepping. For some reason, after finishing the first scenario, the SimCFD is stuck on "Surface meshing... 193/241"

This doesn't happen with a simple pipe geometry. So it is not a generic issue.

How to tackle this?

I'd check face no. 193. This may not fit herre, but sometimes a visible sketch from the original Inventor geometry can cause surface meshing issues. If you go to outline view the sketch should be visible in CFD. Hide it in Inventor...

There is no visible sketch in Inventor model. I have realised that this is an indeterminate issue. Sometimes it happens, sometimes, it doesn't.

I agree with Marco, identify that surface, does look like it could cause issues?
