Hi folks!
I have been trying to render a point-cloud fly-through, but having some issues. Mainly the render times. I've got a Recap scene consisting of 80 million points which I have imported in Max Design 2015 with the point cloud object. I had to bring down the point-count to 20 million to even render at all, it just crams the RAM (32GB) full in a minute, only to keep swapping memory which in turn slows the render down. A 720p render clocked in at 7:40min.
Is this normal behaviour, or should lower end specs be able to do the job just fine?
