Maya 2015 Mental Ray progressive messages

Maya 2015 windows 7 ....When I eanable Batch render Verbosity "Progress Messages" or Detailed Messages it doesn't show in the script editor or the output window.

doesnt show Wallclock or any warning signs.

Just show percentage of rendering statistics and then gives me at the end mayaRenderLog.tex which I can't locate.

I'm trying to debug a scene, single frame no animation.

Is there a way also to see the progress messages out of the render view window not batch render since is a single render?

Thanks

Start the batch render from outside Maya ("Render" command on your .mb file) and control verbosity on the command line for direct control. The batch progress reported inside the Maya script editor is intentionally less verbose, just to let you notice it is still running.

The progress of a preview rendering is directly visible in the "Maya output window" (on WIndows), printed as verbose as you have set in the render options for "Render current frame".

Thanks Steve, I'll try that.
