Maya 2015 Mental Ray batch render just stops....?

Hi,

I have just downloaded the student version of maya 2015 and I am trying to batch render with mental ray but all of a sudden it will just stop rendering, no error messages appear in the script editor as far as I can see and it's really slowing me down because I have to keep setting the start frame from frame 40 to 70 etc...every time it stops.

Does anyone know why this is happening or how can I fix this?

If you need any info or sreenshots about my computer or my maya settings just let me know and I will send them over!

Thanks,

Katie

Sometimes it happended

and its hard to know where are the problems

You can delete the prefs in maya folder

and start maya to create a new setting , then give it a try

or go to file / set a project, set it to another location

close your firewall

before you start to render, open windows / general editors / script editor

start to render and check the script editor , see whats going on

Not much info to go on here...

Is it just one scene that is having trouble rendering or several scenes?

Are you getting any errors in the script editor?

Have you checked the mayaRender.log for info?
