Other renders works fine, but maxwell 3.0.1 renders any grass even from plugins as red.

It's just attribute i don't know if it's has material. I can change color in att editor, but maxwell cant't see it.

I'm not real familiar with Maxwell - but do you need to create a Maxwell specific material to apply to the geometry?
I tried to assign "maxwell layered material" and then apply grass but it didn't make a difference. I found workaround for my problem. I can export .mxs from maya, import it in Maxwell Studio where i can change color of "Maxwell Default Material" which i can't find in Hypershade.
In the hypershade - I would suspect Maxwell has it's own materials section (like MR does).
There's a 'Maya' materials section, a 'Mental Ray section'... I would suspect Maxwell does as well.
Also - are you certain you have Maxwell selected as your renderer?
Yes. I still don't know how to do this http://itaibachar.blogspot.ru/2013/06/maxwell-grass.html (green grass, gray plane) but i can live with that. Tha main problem was that maxwell plugin likes to uload and uncheck itself sometimes and i didn't notised it when i tried to apply maxwell layerd material.
