Baking a HyperShade branch for texturing?

Is Maya restricted to only baking out Diffuse Maps with Light or Light maps ?

I'd like to know if I can baking out a specific node diffuse branch from hypershde in Maya.

Hello,

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are looking for.

Is it that you would like to be able to bake a specific node within the Shaders Hierarchy? (For example: Your graph the shader within the hyphershade and you want to bake one particular node which is part of that shaders hierarchy

Could you please explain a little further what it is you are specifically after and we can look into it for you.

Cheers,

Karen

Hi, the above is exactly what I want to do.  If you need an image to demonstrate I can show one. 🙂
