view selected member only

Dears 

 

I need help in where i can find a command of view only the selected member , elements or parts of the structure which is very common in other applications ?

Hi,

In the visualization label you can find the option "only for selected object". On screen click with the RMB and find the visualization panel.

1-Select the member

2- use the indicated tool in the attached file

Well, this is one of the possibility to hide part of the structure, the most helpfull one is this:

 

1) click on RMB and chose the visualization tool (as showed in the following picture:

2) after clicking in the highlighted point, you can see this label:

3) Well, now you can change whatever you want and the visualization is referred only at the selected bars, obviously changing selection it change the view and not the property (see the next picture)

Select the elements  and click on " Edit on new window" . Only the selected elements will show up in the new window
