do the global axis directions matter??

Dear sir i have attached a picture of the beams created im new to robot so i have a lot of questions . do the global directions really matter ??

Both global and local (these displayed on the bar elements) are very important. They are used e.g. for definition of  loads and display of results.

The desplayed directions in the picture are theb local axis of the bars and not the directions of loadings.

oh sorry i mean are these ok when compared to the local axis like now for example i saw a video where the person changes these axes to the global axis but im not really sure so just wanted clarification on that
