Warning: Element not assigned to any story

Hi

After running calculations, I get an error telling me that some of my elements are not assigned to any story.

My questions are,

- Do I need to correct this or can I disregard the warning?

- What are the consequenses of disregarding it?

- How do I easely choose the correct story for each element?

In advance, thanks.

Peder

If you  want to run seismic analysis and check results for stories then probably no; otherwise you can

See above.

You can use one of the Assign options shown on the attached picture.

Hi

What if some elements can not be assigned to any specific story? Attached is a picture of a structure that includes lot of elements that they start from one level and go through other stories or there are elements they start from the middle of the story?
