WEIRD MOMENT ON SECONDARY BEAMS

HEY,

 

i am design the secondary and primary beams supporting the deck slab

Panel 28 is in the X direction while i want panel 31 in y direction

But im getting negative moments on the secondary beams in pnael 31 which is definitely wrong,

can someone help me to find out my mistake.

hey Rafal,

just to make things clear since i am a bit confused.

So if i want a deck slab to be in  the y direction there is an option in deck slab properties to use y direction is this as if i have put x direction then changed the panel direction as u have mentioned above?

Whenever i am doing this i am getting negative moment  My  for secondary beams which is wrong bar(20,30,32 etc)...

Eevrything is correct.

Check displacement first
