Timber Beam

Hi, I'm new with autodesk Robot, so i want to ask in my opionion very simple question 🙂 but i'm struggling at finding how to do two-slope beam.
I need timber beam with 0,88m in sides and 1,68 in middle.

Try to use the tapered timber section applied to two bars with the smaller dimensions assigned to their outer parts.

Move the 'middle' node up a bit Smiley Happy

On the other hand mind that bar element is just the dimensionless object with some properties assigned so that how it looks like when you display the section shape is IMHO the 'secondary' concern. The most important is how you would like this beam to behave (what sort of internal forces you want to see; in other words does this shape cause additional axial force generation or not).
