Thick steel plate - Reduction of Yield limit

Hi,

I'm currently designing thick steel sections. I want to have a reduction factor of the yield limit according to NF EN 10025 and not EC3.

How can I change this reduction in the material properties or in the checking parameters? (I want to avoid to create a new steel material for every range of thicknesses)

How can I find where these parameters are set? And is it possible to change it, as it possible for partial safety factor of each codes for example.

Thx

This is not possible as it is implemented according to the version of NAD (what it 'says' about the way the reduction should be done). For the French one the only way is to create new steel grades as you already wrote. For the Danish NAD the reduction is done according to the table you attached.

Hello,

I am trying to create new steel grade 350 for custom fabricated tapered beams sourced from overseas. Eventually, they should be compliant with AS4100. I am struggling to find the way in specifiying variation in strength due to increase in the thickness of the plate? Or if it is done automatically - how can I find the value to demonstrate my supervisor that the grade is correct.

Also, is there any chance to investigate shear flow and fillet weld design for web to flange connection in RSA?

Thank you
