Thick slabs

Hello,

Does robot have any type of finite elements(i'm talking about slabs) which takes into account shear deformations(distribution of normal stresses is not linear over the thickness of the slab)? Except of using 3D elements. In other words, is it possible to model plane plate, which would work according thick plates theory(for example thick foundation slab on piles)?
