Supports on isolated nodes (Warning: Isolated nodes)

When Verification is done on the model, I get the warning that Isolated nodes are found. I read that i could just delete these nodes, but there are some isolated nodes that have support attached to them. I dont want do delete those.

I used to manually deselect them. Isnt there a way that those nodes are kept out of this warning?

(The nodes are in the line of a beam so they do support the beam although beams dont start or end at these nodes.)

Have you run MOdel Generation or Calculations before Verification?

I keep running them! A real pain in the **** as it takes me a couple of minutes every time :(.

(Doesnt it automatically does a verification after generating the calculational model?)

No isolated nodes anymore, probably because it cut up my whole model :s.
I actually didnt want to cut my foundation beam up! Was is necessary??

Yes , Verification in run automatically after Model Generation

I understand your situation as shown below:

Oh so the model generation is cutting my beams up!

Do I have to cut my panel edge up in pieces? It goes over several ' supportnodes' but the nodes are still considered isolated!

Can I (re)join a beam that is cut in 2 pieces?

Thanks for replying this fast!

Correct! Sow the beam should've been went from node to node?

No, if there is  a node over \ on the beam  or beam intesects perpendiculary with other beam, the process of Model Generation will join them generating calculation elements \ nodes.

Should I cut the edge of a panel from support to support then?

No, if node is located on the edge of panel the meshing algorithm should detect it , and generate mesh connected to such node

The 'supportnodes' under my beam or not indicated as isolated nodes anymore, but the support under my wall still are.

Have you meshed the wall?

Can I (re)join a beam that is cut in 2 pieces?

No.

You were tooo fast. I've editted my reply.

Ok, after generating the calculation model. Isolated nodes should not appear anymore!

(I used to remove the mesh before making changes in my model. Thats why the nodes were isolated all the time.)

If you mean cutting as generation of calculation elements - yes.

Some setting to the previous post.

Yep thats how it is, thanks.
I think I understand now. After generating the calculation model the nodes with supports are part of the model!
