Strange values in Reactions table

I am noticing some strange values in my Reactions table as follows

  • In static load cases where only vertical loads are applied, I am finding reactions in the horizontal direction
  • There is quite a big discrepancy between sum of applied loads and sum of reactions

I have attached some snapshots of the Loads and Reactions Table.

The building has been modelled on piles with linear springs attached over the length of the pile.  I notice there are horizontal reactions in the springs decreasing towards the base of the pile.

Could it be the deflection of the piles under static loads is causing these horizontal reactions in the springs?

is that why the forces and reactions are not adding up?
