Spring / Damper within ROBOT model

Hi,

I am looking into modelling a truss structure on brackets. Between the brackets and the truss structure there are elastomeric bearings.

Is it possible to model these bearings within ROBOT for a spectral analysis? Can I represent them with an element and specify their stiffness and damping?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Stuart

No as the modal analysis calculates undamped vibrations only. This would be possible for THA analysis only.

How I can model a damper (buckling restrained braced frame) on RSA?
