Splitting Panels

Hi,

I have constructed the model below defining only 2 stories (for the bottom most level and the top most level - I abandoned the right most level of picture below). Upon running the model I realised that there should be 3 stories to allow the equivalent lateral forces to act at the roof of each level because the right most end of the structure was not attracting much load.

I should have defined the 3 stories right at the beginning, and broken the panels up during construction. But now that I am in this predicament, is there any way of splitting the panels so that the equivalent lateral forces are able to act at each roof level? Please see picture below. Thanks in advance
