Spiral beam

How can i generate spiral beam for the spiral slab (stairs) ? 

 

it is attached / spiral slab .

As a chain of bar elements from one node to another.

Once you have the panel meshed, just draw bars from node to node along the edge.

 

Change the parameters of the mesh if you want the beam less linear.

 

Ensure the bar releases are fixed.

 

Done.

how can i make them as one bar ?

Go to: design tab - Steel Members design Options - Members/Groups Defenition

 

Click New, to create a new bar number

 

Add the bar numbers you want as the super bar into the, bar list.

 

Add name of super bar.

 

Change member type.

 

Click OK.

Read the help file regarding C. Groups (Code Groups), but your unlikely to need it at this stage.
