Snow load from adjacent building

I am pretty new to Robot.

I have here a case where snow load from an existing building will fall down and load stress the new extension building, see attached draft design.

Only the extension building (made of steel profiles) will be load simulated by wind and snow load according to Eurocode (NA: Finland). As the snow a) will fall down b) drift, I wonder if ROBOT 2014 can handle this case. Any hints are welcome.

Hello Matts,

 

I would calculate the snow loads manualy and make a loadcase.

Input an surface load --> Planar load 3p (screen) in that loadcase with the values you have been calculated according to EC1-1-3 snow, attachment.
