Slow meshing

Problem in the following... On the big problems very slowly meshing separate plates or walls. Not all building entirely, and even separate elements. How it to solve?

Hello

Try Meshing options as shown below (settings of greyed out fields are also important )

If it does not help please share your model or part of your model to check

Thanks big for the answer! I will try! Partially I have solved a problem, namely have made model correction. But there was other problem: process of creation of settlement model goes normally, attributes are appointed, loadings are put, but in the end there is a ROBOT lag, and the model as a result isn't created. The model even without loadings isn't created, in the end hangs. What can it be? By the way, the file with geometry occupies 70 Mb.

I think you will get ~500000 FE model so it will be hard to work with it.

I suggest different approaches:

* General remark - in your case mesh slabs first, then cores (walls)

- change meshing parameters to get smaller number of finite elements

- if you are not interested in slabs results so far (eg designing cores)  use diaphragms instead of meshed panels:

-  if you are interested in more accurate results on some slabs – mesh only them or mesh them with more refine mesh than other panels
