Robot 2012-SpreadSheet Calculator 2012

I installed Microsoft Office and Robot Structural Analysis on Windows 7 64x. When I run Robot 2012-SpreadSheet  Calculator 2012  gives this error:"Compile error. Method or data member not found". How do you think I could solve this problem?

I guess you are using Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit.

Unfortunately 64-bit version of MS Excel is not suported by Robot Extensions - Spreadsheet Calculator.

Hi,

I have installed both RSA pro 2011 x32 and RSA pro 2012 x64 (so they are installed in different directories... Program files (x86) and Program files)

1) Spreadsheet calculator works under RSA pro 2011 but it doesn't work with RSA pro 2012 x64. In particular I can't have any link to RSA 2012 and I got the following info-error " Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis is not running ". Any ideas to link Spr.Calc to RSA 2012?

2) I see some interesting spreadsheet files for EC3 in the library but they seem  to be not accessible (see attachment). Why?

Thanks in advance

ad 1)

It seems that automatic un-registering of 32-bit version and registering of 64-bit version did not succeed so it is necessary to do it "manually".

It can be done for instance opening Commnad Prompt as administrator (see the attached screen capture) and running:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis 2011\SYSTEM\EXE\robot.EXE" /unRegServer

to unregister version 2011and then running:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2012\System\Exe\robot.EXE" /RegServer

to register version 2012

If one of above commands is copied to the clipboard it is enough to click right mouse button in Command Prompt window to paste it to the command line.

Above description is related to English Win 7 with default installation folders.

If it won't help please give more details - which spreadsheet, description of actions and messages.

Spreadsheets with gray icons correspond to spreadsheets which were planned to be implemented but implementation not completed yetSmiley Sad

It seems to work  Smiley Happy

thanks Pawel!

ps: of course, in my case,  the word "Professional" needs to be added also at the first command.
