How does one design reinforcing for a volumetric solid. In most cases one can use beam flexure theory, however for example differnential temperture of a volumetric solid this is incorrect. I am aware that there is an ACI method using stress analysis and on initial viewing seems quite complex.
Are there any other methods or codes that details how to design reinforcement from the stresses taken from robot?
What the best method would be to take out the required stresses and compute the reinforcing?
Any help or tips would be much appreciated.
