Reaction Forces

Is the reaction which I got after calculation (Result, Reaction) is the one which I can use to calculate the design of the footing.

for example, in the attached photo, the reaction at node 1 is for exampleFz = 64355.24 kg.

I can use this force to calculate the design of footing?

Regards

It's not really a Robot question though, is it.........

  • which code are you designing to?
  • ultimate or allowable soil capacity?
  • what kind of footing?
  • no idea which load combination or factors you are using..
  • etc
  • etc

too many variables here to help you.  maybe better to ask your tutor at uni?

Thanks tony for answering my question,

I just want to be sure if this reaction which i got from the robot is the one which i can use to design the footing with regardless to all the above variable mentioned above.

I am not sure if my question is clear,

Thanks and regards

If you mean "do you use the reactions table to find forces so you can do footing design" then the answer is yes.

Load cases / combination that you should use are up to the local code.
