Hi,
We're currently working on a model which is way much to slow to calculate, it takes hours to run a calculation.
There are about 2000 nodes and 3000 elements, each of them have specific loads under and various releases.
Each time we run a calculation, it first suppress the previus model, then take for ever to consolidate the model.
The several iteration using the Newton-Raphson method are really slow so we wonder which would be the best
settings to perform the calculations.
Thanks,
Guillaume
PS : I couldn't attach the file (https://www.dropbox.com/s/x6hlsq0z8rydkti/EST_140217.rtd)
Each time we run a calculation, it first suppress the previus model, then take for ever to consolidate the model.
Use from time to time "save as" and save file as rtd without results under new file name to compact file.
So your file can be 11 MB instead of 950 MB
Consolidation takes less than minute.
