I clearly understand, that this situation is "synthetic" but it is abnormal, that Robot changes the object model instead of only the calculation model.

I think this is a problem for a long time, not just 2014 version?

idea 1 :
the tolerance is the one for model generation which includes meshing (if it is not frozen).
Do you have the same problem if the mesh is frozen before generating the model?
Idea 2 :
doesn't seem the geometry is changed (contour is the same but mesh goes beyond it) but calculation model doesn't fit I agree ... same problem if you change Coons to Delaunay or vice versa?
Idea 3 : the problem seems to occurs when you accuracy is close to the max size set for the FE, same problem if you set tolerance to 100mm instead of 500mm (your FE size) ?
Improved in Robot 2015.

In Robot 2018 and 2019 the problem arose again.
