REGULARITY AND OTHER CHECKS ACCORDING TO EN1998-1 WITH ROBOT

Hi,

 

I have a concrete structure and I want to check by Robot if the criteria of regularity, limitation of second order effects and limitation interstorey drifts are satisfied according to EN1998-1. 

Is there any way Robot to run the above mentioned criteria automatically? 

The equations that I want to check are the ones at the paragraphs 4.2.3.3, 4.2.3.2, 4.4.2.2.(2), (3), (4) and 4.4.3.2 (1) of EN 1998-1

I also want to check according to par. 5.1.2 the system that my structure is ( frame system, frame-equivalent dual system etc), hence to calculate if the shear resistance at the building base exceeds 65% or 50% of the whole structural system or to calculate the normal design axial force vd of columns for other possible systems (i.e.. inverse pendulum system)

No, you cannot obtain automatically these parameters of EC8 in Robot, you have to "extract" them manually by using the results of the table of stories...
