RC Design Isues

Hi guys,

Having a bit of a shocker today with the revit link;

When I change the reinforcing bar database to AS3600, the link will not update reinforcement into the footings in Revit.  It was working for ACI bars.

So if I use AS3600 bars, it throws an exception (i've attached a txt file with the exception text).  Also attached the Robot file.  Using Robot and Revit 2013.

Cheers,

Tony

Tony,

Are you doing RC design to AS3600 in Robot 2013??

Rich

No, not implemented yet.

In the original post i was referring to some RC design I did with various other codes using Australian rebar, then importing into Revit.

Have you done any?  if so, how? Smiley Happy

Tony,

No unfortunately not...I was hoping that you had found a way with something that I had missed. This update has been a long time coming.

Rgds,

Rich

Rafal,

Thanks, but I don't 100% agree.

It seems that we have been given required reinforcement check for slabs and beams only?  Not columns.

And no check for provided reinforcement, only required.

It's better then nothing I guess, but still not perfect Smiley Happy

We are downloading now, I'll throw my 2 cents work in when I've had a play.
