Plate Meshing Problems

Hi,

I've problems gettign the mesh working in the attached file and link below. I get multiple nodes generated in region A (can be dealt with by detailed correct), Incoherent mesh generated in region B, and if I solve B the elements are not joining up in region C.

I've tried searching for some input on how to solve these type of meshing problems, the only thread I could find was regarding the advanced meshing settings which didn't help me. If you know how to solve this and can let me know what the approach/solution is that would be very helpful.
