Object Combinations

Hi,

Please could somebody explain how to successfully combine the two pipes (combine panels 14,15,16, 19 with panel 😎 in the attached model? Have tried various object combination methods (including the examples on previous posts in the forum) but nothing seems to work for me.

Thanks in advance..

I guess objects 14to16 19  should be made as a one "cone".

1. Cone tube as a Cone

2. Bottom shaft cylinder as cylinder with 128 circle divisions

Check attached file, check thicknesses, remove temporary bars

Hi Rafal.

Thanks for your help. I think I understand now. Will just have to change it slightly as the walls of the vertical cylinder should be sloped, so I assume that modelling this as a cone (similar method to the inlet pipe) should be ok...

Thanks again.
