Multithreading meshing

Multithreading meshing

Everyone knows that make proper mesh for complex geometry on the first try is impossible.

Robot makes perfect mesh, but, unfortunatelly uses only one core of CPU, so process is quite long on powerful computers.

Please, make multuthreading support for meshing and we can save a lot of precious hours :-)!

please also include multiprocessing for Solid Mesh.

this is an extremely important option, specially when working with big models such as high rise towers...

time of meshing for such projects is tremendous

Please include model preparation here as well (verification, consolidation, applying of loads) so whole process could use full CPU power.

Also, OpenCL integration for robot acceleration.. for calculation and meshing...

GPU acceleration can benefit low level cpu workstation but has great gpgpu units.

Hello

I am using Robot each day on doing very complex and complicated models - up to and over 200 000 FEM nodes. Wwe are using machines with many processors. Robot uses only one of them - for designing gometry and loads. The same thing with calculations.

The problem is not with the designing - but with the calculations - it takes hours to calculate our projects. The thing is that Robot does not use the whole potention off our work stations.

It is possible to lounch many Robot applications at one time - the calculation and designing time will be the same - too long.

Please do something about it.

And this is a serious probleme - that Autodesk tries to replace with cloud - the issues are:
1. Cloud is another cost - why pay for this if You are not using your own machine ?
2. How about internet connection - and uploading - downloading files form server and up to server... Preety exhausting..

Substructuring should also be considered; while being a fundamental fea consept substructuring is an age old method to solve larger mesh problems with smaller meshes (both creation of mesh and matrix solution).
