Foundation copy

Is there any way of copying the whole foundation parameters (i.e geometry as well as the rest parameters) that have been defined in the RC module of “spread foundation” and which they correspond to a supporting node, to another supporting node of the structure?

What is your exact goal? Do you want to have identical spread footings in both nodes or the calculation parameters shall be the same but sizes and/or reinforcement different?

My question was concerning the case that the user wishes to define the same calculation parameters and the same geometry to the footing of two or more nodes (but without "grouping" them). For instance, if we have already define (and maybe also verify) a footing corresponding to a node and then we want to copy the whole definition (geometry and parameters) or the already verified footing, to another node.

That is actually the concept of the grouping Smiley Happy

No, this is currently not possible. In the current version of Robot you can save some of the calculation parameters under defined names and then assign them to the selected foundations (e.g. using the Inspector) but this functionality is not available for all design parameters. The request for having this possibility for all of them is on the wish list.

For geometry and reinforcement you should use the typical reinforcement dialog (save it under a name).
