Floor's calculation Model

Hi ,

When i model a floor with thickness(t) there are models to choses , these are :

1- shell

2- Slab/flexible diaphram

3- Slab/Rigid diphram

4- Deck slab/one way

5- curtain wall

What is the geometrical difference between Floor models to easily choose from them ?

Diaphragms can be use only on horizontal panels (slabs)

Yes.

waht is the appropiate model to use in seismic analysis ?

It depends what results you want to get in slabs (if you are interested in any) and slab way of working (for example loads should be applied directly to bars \ walls -> use trapezoidal method)
