Drop panels in ARSA it's Time !

Analysis and design of two way slab panels systems with or without drop panels or columns capitals, oginaly ARSA was created for the way that European structural Engineer are proceed and in the uses of construction in europe, means here by the fact that usually in europe RC buildings are made with cast in place sab on beam, but in North America particullary in the US and Canada two way slab system with drop panels are pratically the standard for High rise Buildings.

And actually the softwares that really help the engineers in their works are essentially :

1-PCA-SLAB

2-CSI-SAFE

3-ADAPT RC FLOOR with or whitout post tension (which is in my point of view the most powerfull of them)

In the case of ARSA, some work must be done to achieve the works that have been made fot the RC-plate modulus, because  the way and the process that ARSA show the provided reinforcement are a little bit fastidious when comparing it with those softwares. Effectively, they allow the user to proced the analysis and the design by using the strip design procedure (betwwen line support) based on the direct design method instead of the FE method (which is very usefull in ARSA).

Drop panels, must be define also in a parametric way in ARSA, just because also the improvment that have been made in the same time in revit. I read recently that RobobAT POLSKA have created an extension for RSA to doing that, but there is any video where the users can visualise it.
