Distorted Elements and Mesh Error

Hello,

i am having real difficulty in meshing my structure. I keep on getting the error message "distorted elements "

I have tried so many different mesh types and mesh sizes, all with no luck.  I have the tried detailed correct tool and then tried to move the mesh onto the pannel but this doesnt work (I could be using the wrong scale, I did try lots of number sin the range 0.01-1). I have tried turning kinematic restraints on and off neither seems to solve the problem!

Please can you help me out?

here is my file

Thanks for your help

The problem is due to the fact that you defined arches of walls and slabs with different numbers of divisions. Try to defined them starting from the top of the structure (roof) from nodes that indicate the positions of beams and walls and with tee fixed numbers of divisions. Then you can copy the panels created at the top of the model to its bottom. This should allow you to have the coherent meshes along the outer edges of the model.

thanks for your reply,

I have tried to follow your steps, so I have meshed the top floor and then copied its mesh properties to the base floor. Then I get the same error when I try and mesh the intidediate walls. It seems that when I give the walls the same mesh divisions as the floors the mesh is completelly wrong.

Can you assist me further please?

When you say that I have defined them as different numbers of divisions do you mean when I drew them or for my mesh settings?

This is my file in its most current state

Thanks for your help, I got the mesh to work, copying properties helped alot and also a fair amount of patience was needed!
