Design of Column Base Plates

I am asking for designing of anchor reinforcement in concrete pedestals (EC3 + CEB). I have problems with designing columns base plates with big moments, when distance between anchor from edge is small - concrete resistance isn't enough(concrete cone failure) and we need reinforcement but we have'nt any possibility to calculate it in ARSA.

  That would be very useful in case of anchoring in RC columns (addition of steel structure in an existing RC structure).

Regarding column base design EC3+CEB A good solution will be also an option to completely abandon the verification of concrete by the CEB. CEB checks only concrete section without reinforcement, in practice this situation is very rarely encountered. ARSA should calculate this reinforcement or should be an option to select the calculations by CEB.

Please put an option to bypass the CEB.

Anyhow there is a EN standard now for calculating anchors (CEN-TS 1992-4), but flexibility to use user's resistance values for tension/shear is really wanted (Hilti, Peikko, Anstar products)
